God desires a “Personal Relationship” with You
Ever since God created Adam, the first man, the original “son of God”, God desired a “Relationship” with his children. Genesis 1, it outlines very clearly, what God did, how God did it, but not “Why” God did it. I believe the why is simple: God created the perfect environment for God to start a family. God's desire from the beginning was to have a “Personal Relationship” with his children and to spend time with his children everyday. When Adam disobeyed God and ate from the "Tree of Good and Evil" he sinned, became "Unrighteous', and was "Separated" from God.
The "Good News" is that when we, me and you, accept Jesus Christ as our "Lord and Saviour" we are made the “Righteousness of Christ”, put “In Right Standing with God”, "Reconciled to God", able to walk hand and hand in this world with God.
II Corinthians 5:18 - And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given us the ministry of reconcilation.
It is still God's desire today to walk with his children thru this life. God is a "Good Father" and as a Good Father he wants, desires, to spend as much time with his children as possible. If you look at the Life of Jesus as described in the four Gospels you realize that there was a special relation between God, The Father and Jesus, God's Son. That same level of relationship is available to us with God our "Heavenly Father once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
